What information we collect
We collect only the personal information that you supply to us voluntarily. When you inquire, reserve or purchase you may be asked to supply personal information that includes, but is not limited to, name, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card number, and expiration date. We may also request information such as arrival and departure dates, children’s ages, levels of snow sport ability, photos, and other similar or related information that will help to better judge your needs and arrange for your participation in our programs. If you request e-mail updates from us, we also ask what type of information you may want us to send to you. We use information we collect about you to process your reservation or request, reserve programming you desire, respond to your inquiries, contact you about your reservation or other matters relating to your visit, send you information we believe will be of interest, process orders for Passes, Badges, and tickets, complete and respond to employment applications you submit on-line, and generally understand how we can better serve you.
How we protect your information
The information we collect is stored in a secure environment. We use secure servers where the software encrypts all the information you input before it is sent to us. All customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.
In addition to this, we use secure tokenization for all credit card processing so your information is not stored on our servers.
Cookies
Cookies are pieces of identification information sent by us and stored by your browser. We use cookies to collect information about your use of our site, such as particular pages visited in order for us to understand how our customers navigate through our site, to better tailor our advertising and landing pages, to facilitate form and purchase processing, and to enhance your future interaction with our site. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites or direct links to other web sites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. Smugglers’ does NOT sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. If this policy were to change in the future, we will change this posted policy and give you the option to remove your personal information.
